In a Peanuts comic strip Lucy is speaking with Linus at the base of a hill.

Lucy says,“Someday I’m going over that hill and find the answer to my dreams…. Someday I’m going over that hill and find hope and fulfillment. I think, for me, all the answers to life lie beyond these clouds and over the grassy slopes of that hill!”

Linus removes his thumb from his mouth, points toward the hill, and responds: “Perhaps there’s another little kid on the other side of that hill who is looking this way and thinking that all the answers to life lie on this side of the hill.”

Lucy looks at Linus, then turns toward the hill and yells,“Forget it, kid!”

You May Think the Grass Is Greener on the Other Side of the Hill. But If You Take the Time to Water Your Own Grass, It Would Be Just As Green.

By the Time You Find Greener Pastures, You’re Too Old to Climb Over the Fence!

What greener pastures have YOU sought that are on the other side of the hill?

IF YOU BELIEVE GOD CONTROLS THE BIG THINGS, YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE GOD CONTROLS THE LITTLE THINGS. IT IS WE WHO SEE THINGS AS LITTLE OR BIG!

Haiti is a country loaded with mountains and hills. The young people wish they could see what is on the other side of the mountain. But they need a good education! Please help me to give them one. In Roseaux, Haiti the students have to sit in the hot sun or find shelter when it rains in order to learn. YOU can help to change this! How? Please RSVP and Register today for our Building Dreams Event this Thursday, September 16th at 7:00 PM CST.   www.foodforthepoor.org/buildingdreams.  Please Register Today!
