As well as serving in five other wonderful parishes in Chicago and six in Florida.
Co-founding Rainbows that has helped over 3 million kids in single-parent & blended families.
Founding Joyful Again! weekends that have helped over 12,000 widowed to smile again.
Serving as chaplain to Marriage Encounter to help good marriages become better.
Traveling the country with my best-selling book, Love Adds a Little Chocolate.
Working for the past 15 years on various projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Doing a funeral service for a cockatoo or else a priest would be killed.
Visiting an 85-year old Italian lady monthly who lived in a basement with over 10,000 statues.
Wearing a bullet-proof vest at a wedding in case gunfire broke out.
Almost getting swept away to sea in a flash-flood in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
And that’s just for starters….Over the last 51 years the Lord has provided me with a lot of wisdom, insight and spiritual growth that I’d like to pass along to you in little treats everyday and every week with my homilies and inspirational videos.
At 76 years of age, the Lord is not finished with me yet. One of my most fervent daily prayers is: “Remember, Lord, only the good die young!” Hopefully you can help and be a part of where the Lord is taking me to the poor - both the spiritually poor and the materially poor…. I want to do as much as I can, for as many as I can, as well as I can, for as long as I can.
