Die Somewhere Else!

Share with your friends on Facebook

Here is the entire story I read on the FRONT PAGE of the Florida Sun Sentinel on Saturday, July 24th……

“HAVE HIM DIE SOMEWHERE ELSE!”

A lawn care worker tried desperately to save a man who had a seizure in his car in a Palm Beach Gardens neighborhood. But neighbors had a different reaction.  “Get off our lawn,” they screamed.

The Good Samaritan, identified only as “Tony,” saw the emergency Monday on Dunes Road, in a neighborhood of modest, midcentury homes where he’s often seen pushing his lawnmower.

Tony ran up to the rolling car and grabbed the fender to keep it from creeping farther, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook. The car ran over his boot, but he was wearing steel-toed boots.

Tony begged and screamed for neighbors to help, but to no avail. “Get the man out of here,” they bellowed. “Have him die somewhere else!”

When the victim recovered, he asked the Sheriff’s Office for Tony’s phone number so he could thank him. He met with Tony on Wednesday and gave him a big hug.

Jesus said: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”  (Matthew 25:40)

Alexis de Tocqueville said:  “America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.”

Reflect upon a time when YOU acted in a way like Tony acted to help the man who had a seizure.

JESUS IS WORTH EVERYTHING YOU ARE AFRAID OF LOSING!
