I recently stopped by to visit a woman who had invited me to stop and see her. We were talking when her husband came home. She told him that someone was coming over to see her, but she failed to tell him that I was a priest.

He soon let loose with a few four-letter words and his wife was very embarrassed. I wonder if she would have been embarrassed if I weren’t a priest when he let out his four-letter words?

To be a person of integrity and character,
We cannot be one person when certain people are around,
And a different person when others are around.

The best index to a person’s character is how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and how he treats people who can’t fight back.

I find that some of the people I encounter
Need to open their Small Minds
Instead of their Big Mouths!
