As I have mentioned, one thing that I do regularly on my Smart Phone is jot down a sentence that I consider to be rather profound.
I want to hold on to this sentence. I want to reflect on it and even pray about it. In some cases, I want it to become a part of me. Here are 10 additional sentences that I have jotted down that help me to think, grow spiritually and change my behavior……
God may best be seen as REALITY with a PERSONALITY.
Jesus, I thank you for becoming FINITE and LIMITED, so that I do not have to PRETEND that I am INFINITE and LIMITLESS.
Jesus is not loyal to TEAMS or COUNTRIES or BATTLES or GROUPS…..Jesus is only loyal to SUFFERING.
Jesus came to teach us about how to be HUMAN than how to be SPIRITUAL.
Jesus asked us several times to FOLLOW him, but never to WORSHIP him.
INDIVIDUALISM has EUTHANIZED the power of the Gospel more than anything.
The CHURCH is the only institution that exists primarily for the benefit of those WHO ARE NOT ITS MEMBERS.
ETERNITY is celebrating all the GOOD we have done OR languishing forever in all the selfishness and the BAD that we have done.
If you don’t understand what it’s all about in this world….YOU WILL IN THE NEXT WORLD.
SAINTS are those who wake up in THIS WORLD instead of waiting to wake up in the NEXT WORLD.
